I've been wandering around the American West with a camera in hand for almost ten years. My travels have taken me deep into the canyons of the Southwest, high atop mountain peaks in the Rockies and Cascades, and across the vast, arid deserts. Photography provides me with a medium by which I am able to share my passion for the outdoors with others. It is my hope that my images may have a positive impact on those who view them, whether encouraging a smile on a difficult day or motivating you to enjoy the beauty of whatever nature surrounds you.
My images have been published worldwide in such esteemed publications as Popular Photography, Cowboys & Indians, Inside Outside Southwest and the Photographer's Market. All images on this site are available as gorgeous fine art prints in sizes ranging from 8" x 12" to 24" x 36". They may also be licensed for editorial and advertising usage directly through me or through my stock agency, Age Fotostock.
I'm excited to announce two new workshops in 2008. The first workshop, Nature Photography for Women, runs from April 10 through April 13, 2008. This workshop has been designed to provide women with a workshop experience that allows them to learn in a comfortable and open environment. The second workshop, The 24 Hour Portfolio, is scheduled for June 14, 2008. We'll spend an entire day, from sunrise to sunset, focusing on maximizing limited time in a locale to create a diverse portfolio of images. More information about both workshops is available at
http://www.bretedge.com.
I am also available to privately guide photographers in the Moab area. And, for those of you who don't need a guide but would like some guidance you might consider a customized trip itinerary for your next Moab visit.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my site. I hope you enjoy viewing the images as much as I have enjoyed making them.
